Autumn

Staring through pure honey, edged with forest green. It held up a deep black hole engulfing its surroundings. Unnoticed by her guests, another season waiting to go away. Fleeting shoes overlooked where upon the colors melted, moving in brilliant swirls of the reddish gold. She is still and viewing. Mixtures of different shades of red danced on her lid. Each lash perfectly in order to the crescent shape of her bushy brows. Her giggles vaporized in the air, she was part of nature and nature part of her. Eyes luminous against her cream-colored skin. Every frown brought upon a cold storm, brutally tearing each leaf from its mother. Every smile lanterned your heart with love and comfort. She smells of baked cookies on her wrist. Flames explode from her untamed hair, redder than blonde. Her curls, a proud mane protected her from the harshness of the wind. Dimples, deep clover holes of imperfection under her eyes, story secrets after secrets. Crystal teeth that made the colour white shy away. Large space between her upper incisor brought colour to her light lips. The sun kissed her skin giving it the most spectacular halo effect. Brightening the constellation sitting against her crinkled nose. She waited with patience for her friend. Looked on the streets, bent behind the trees. But her friend never came so winter dragged little autumn away. Nails dug in hold as the ground gave away. Her hair defeating gravity with force of its own. Going down into the endless blue. Deafening silence came as he drowned her. Soon there was no sound or ripple in wake. People went about their day not flinching at the aghast wind blew and took autumn away.
