I wonder what their breath was like knowing that it would be their last 
I wonder if the parents knew
I wonder if they showed fear 
Or braved their hearts so their kin won't scare
I wonder if the kids on that plane, imagined meeting cousins and grandparents
I wonder if said goodbye to each other
Kissed their sleeping babies
Or did they cover their children into a huddled ball
Chest pressed against one another
I wonder if they knew
