Sunrise

A lot of people obsess over sunsets
There is a serenity that surrounds, wrapping ourselves in our nightly coffins
Brisk air, covered in unsaid I love yous and goodbyes
I don't think those people have ever tasted a sunrise
There is no comparison
To the radiance that drinks you into her
Leaves you in shivers knees bellow
Every dawn, I wake
For a cheered Good Morning
Every dawn since I left
I wake for a new adventure
Every dawn since I left
I wake to see that cracked tooth
Every dawn since I left
I wake to feel the mischief that I'd feel beside you
Every dawn since I left
I wish
A soundless whisper
That changes the course wind
Causes tsunamis
I wish for another day
To see you again
~you are my sunrise
(This is for someone very close to my heart)
